This week we wanted to capture the beautiful spring flowers and bring out a technique we are sure a lot of mummies did when they were a child, flower pressing! So grab some wellies, head outside and collect some flowers then set up simple press to create a spring inspired picture.
You will need:
Some spring flowers
Some paper (baking parchment works well)
An old book
Some heavy objects (canned food works well)
You will need to:
Collect your spring flowers
Cut your paper to fit inside your old book
Arrange your flowers onto the paper making sure you have gaps between them
Close the book and weigh down the pages with some heavy objects
Leave for a few days and then carefully remove the flowers and create a spring scene picture by sticking them to some some card or stick between two sheets of sticky back plastic and attach to a sunny window.
